Butter Oats Prawn

You can’t go wrong with this Chinese New Year favourite. Add fried oats and enjoy a crunch in every bite!

INGREDIENTS

Quick Cook Oatmeal

Captain Quick Cook Oatmeal 5 tablespoon

Prawn

Big prawn 300g

Oil

Oil 4 cups

Butter

Butter/Margarine 3 tablespoon

Eggs

Egg Yolks x3

Garlic

Garlic (chopped) 1 tablespoon

Shallot

Shallot 1 table spoon

Instant Chicken Bouillon Granules

Instant Chicken Bouillon Granules 1/2 tablespoon

White Sugar

Sugar 1/2 teaspoon

Salt and Pepper

Salt and pepper 1 dash

Curry Leaves

Curry leaves (optional)

METHODS

  1. Heat up oil, deep-fry prawns for 1 min.
  2. Pour 1/2 cup of oil, butter/margarine and egg yolks till fragrant.
  3. Add garlic, chicken stick granules, sugar, salt, pepper to fry till fragrant.
  4. Add prawn and fry till aromatic.
  5. Add Captain Quick Cook and fry until dry.
