Captain™ Oats Salad Pasta Fusilli

Craving something healthy and green? Here's a quick way to cook a simple pasta dish with all your favourite veggies.

INGREDIENTS

Instant Oatmeal

250gm Captain Instant Oatmeal

Cabbage

150gm Cabbage, finely sliced

Tomato

150gm Tomatoes, finely sliced

Carrots

100gm Carrot, finely sliced

Onion

80gm Onion, finely sliced

Broccoli

150gm Broccoli, finely sliced

Pasta Fusili

200gm Pasta Fusili

Parsley

50gm Parsley Leaf

Mayonnaise

200gm Mayonnaise

Lemon

2 tea spoons of Lemon Juice

Salt and Sugar

Salt & Sugar – Adjusted to taste

GARNISHING

Salad Leaves

60gm Salad Leaf

Parsley

50gm Parsley Leaf

Tomato

80gm Tomatoes

Cucumber

60gm Cucumber

METHODS

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Rinse in cold water and drain.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt and sugar until well blended.
  3. Add Captain Instant Oatmeal, pasta, parsley leaf, cabbage, tomatoes, carrot, onion and broccoli; fold gently until well mixed.
  4. Served and enjoyed!
