Roasted Captain™ Oats Pancake

Say YES to a yummy bowl of pancakes for breakfast! Mix rolled oats to your pancake batter, fry it well and add some fruits!

INGREDIENTS

Instant Oatmeal and Classic Rolled Oats

Captain Instant Oatmeal & Captain Classic Rolled Oats, 500gm

Milk

UHT Milk, 1 litre

Eggs

Egg, 3

Salt

Salt, 15gm

Butter

Butter, 100gm

White Sugar

Sugar, 200gm

Baking Powder

Baking Powder, 15gm

Spray

Spray Grease, 1 btl

Peanut Butter

Peanut Butter, 100gm

Apricot Jam

Apricot Jam, 100gm

Blueberry

Fresh Blueberry, 200gm

Strawberry

Fresh Strawberry, 200gm

Cinnamon

Cinnamon Stick, 10gm

Lemon

Lemon, 1

Flour

Corn Flour, 25gm

Mint

Mint Leaves, 5 gm

Pistachio Nuts

Pistachio Nuts, 25 gm

METHODS

  1. Lightly toast Captain™ Oats in a non-stick pan until light golden brown.
  2. Remove and let cool then blend it to powder.
  3. Put roasted Captain™ Oats flour into a mixing bowl.
  4. Then add baking powder, eggs, salt, sugar (50 gm) and melted butter oil, mix well.
  5. Slowly add UHT Milk to the mixture to make into a batter consistency. Mix well.
  6. Heat Non-Stick Pan and lightly spray with grease.
  7. Pour small portion of batter into heated pan and turn after 1 minute. Remove after cooking batter as pancakes..
  8. Continue process until all batter is finished.
  9. Spread peanut butter on 1 piece of pancake and apricot jam onto another pancake.
  10. Sandwich both pancakes with another plain pancake and cut as display.
  11. Plated as shown.

METHODS (SAUCE)

  1. Heat pot with some water, sugar, lemon zest and cinnamon stick.
  2. Add cut Strawberry and Blueberry. Mix well.
  3. Cook till the ingredients are soft.
  4. Add corn flour solution to thicken sauce.
  5. Ready to serve.
